RETAINER AGREEMENT

LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW:

That this contract between (lawyer) and (client), both parties being residents of Barangay 123, ABC City, Province of XYZ, witnesses that:

1. Retainer relations are hereby created between the parties for a period of one year from date hereof;
2. (Lawyer) shall make herself available for ready consultation by (client) on any matter requiring legal advice or opinion, notarization, preparation of legal documents or legal action;
3. (Client) shall pay (lawyer) Php3,000 per month, every 25th, during the period covered by this agreement;
4. In case (lawyer) is required to represent (client) in any appearance or negotiation, a separate special power of attorney shall be required;
5. Any violation of this agreement shall give (client) the option to immediately cancel the contract without necessity of judicial proceedings; otherwise, a thirty-day notice is require prior to such termination.
